A delegation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria headed by Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov is on an official visit to Madrid, Kingdom of Spain.
Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov will have a meeting with his Spanish colleague Álvaro García Ortiz in the Spanish capital. The focus of the talks will be countering cross-border organized crime, terrorism and illegal migration. Criminal law matters of mutual interest will be discussed in order to exchange experience and best practices in criminal investigations.
The Bulgarian delegation includes Elena Karakasheva, Deputy Prosecutor General at the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor's Office, and Svetoslav Vasilev, Head of the Cyber Crimes Department at the National Investigation Service.
During the visit the Bulgarian delegation will have meetings with the leadership of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, the International Cooperation Unit at the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kingdom of Spain, the Cybercrime Specialised Unit and the Special Anti-Drug Prosecutor’s Office.
